Welcome
Welcome to the website of the church of St John the Baptist, Sevenoaks. St John's is a parish in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England, but we welcome anyone who wishes to worship with us and to be part of our parish community, whatever their denomination or tradition. As the parish church of the northern part of Sevenoaks, we seek to serve the needs of all the people living and working in the area.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of the next Vicar of St John’s: Fr Robin Jones, SSC. Fr Robin is currently the Vicar of St Luke’s Church, Uxbridge Road in the diocese of London. He will be coming to St John’s in May and his induction as our parish priest will take place on Thursday 24th May. More details about Fr Robin are in the February edition of About St John’s.
During the interregnum our programme of services and devotions continues without interruption. Our main weekly celebration is the Sung Mass at 10am on Sundays, but there is a Mass celebrated every day.
