Christ is the centre of our life. Here at St John’s we follow in his footsteps with confidence and joy. We know that we are called to holiness; in joy we work to realise this calling by celebrating the liturgy, reading and reflecting on the Sacred Scriptures and by prayer. We do this together as the people of God in this part of His kingdom. We work together and place all our talents at the service of God and of His people. By the help of God we are focusing on our calling to be a holy people, a learning people and a loving people.
Whether you are far or near we invite you to join us in our life as Christians. We can not promise you instant happiness, but we can promise you joy. We can not promise you worldly riches but we can offer you share in God’s love. We can not offer you honour or prestige but we can offer you to share with us the shame of the cross, the only road that takes us to the glories of Easter!
As Jesus once said to those who were searching, we say to you: “Come and see!”
We are an Anglo-Catholic parish under the pastoral guidance of the Bishop of Fulham and part of a growing worldwide family known as Forward in Faith.
